The Engineers PEI 31st Annual Bridge Building Contest was held at Royalty Crossing Mall on Thursday, April 2nd.

At the 4th Annual Engineers PEI MLA Reception, four backgrounders were presented to those in attendance. These backgrounders were prepared by the Engineers PEI Advocacy Committee. Below are the backgrounders, for your information.
The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam confirms the technical knowledge of engineering graduates. The National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) in the United States administers the exam.
DO I NEED TO WRITE THE EXAM?
If you are an Engineers PEI applicant, with academic credentials (bachelors degree) earned from institutes outside of Canada, you must have WES (World Education Services) authenticate and evaluate the credentials.
What you need to do:
The Annual Engineers PEI Lobster Supper is taking place on Saturday, June 13th at New Glasgow Lobster Suppers.
Members, EITs, LTPs and Student Members are invited to attend. Each registrant and guest are $25.00 each ($50.00 for two). Each additional guest is $70.00.

Rube Goldberg machines are different from the machines we are used to seeing. A good Rube Goldberg machine incorporates the everyday machines we are used to seeing and connects them in ways that may seem foolish or inventive.
The first annual Lieutenant Governor's Award for Engineering Achievement was awarded to Harbourside Engineering Consultants at a ceremony held at Fanningbank on March 2, 2016. Harbourside Engineering Consultants received this award for their work on the Hunt Club Pedestrian Bridge, located in Ottawa, Ontario. Click here to see photos from the ceremony.
